Maybe you just want to use RetroArch for SNES emulation? Well then, only download the SNES cores. The authors of RetroArch are mindful of the limited space we have on our Android devices. RetroArch doesn't come packaged with its 'cores' (its video game emulators).
Follow this flow - in the settings go to User Interface > Appearance > Menu Scale Factor. Shrinking the UI, before & after Newer versions of RetroArch have the UI larger than it should be. RetroArch - This version is intended for older Android devices and devices that are not 64-bit. In other words, this is for most modern Android devices. There are two downloads for Retroarch in the Play Store: RetroArch Plus - This version is meant for devices that have Android 8.0 or higher installed and for 64-bit capable devices. This is where things get a little confusing. Hopefully, I can make RetroArch easy for everyone :) The Windows version is good, too. However, that's exactly the reason why I created this tutorial. The drawback with RetroArch is that it wants to do everything and cook your dinner! It's loaded with an overwhelming amount of features and customization. Single-system emulators don't fare well on large screens, but RetroArch does.
RETROARCH MAME CORE FOR ANDROID
RetroArch is particularly ideal for Android tablets and Play Store supported Chromebooks. There may be some instances where you'll have no choice but to use RetroArch. The available single-system emulators only cover the usual assortment of popular systems. (I have the Windows version covered, too.)
